THE STORY

After spending 30+ years as an esthetician, curbAGE skincare founder, MaryJane Poole, kept noticing something that didn't make sense to her: 

Women were adding more and more products to their skincare routine, yet many were still struggling with visible signs of aging.

"I was tired of watching women waste their time and money chasing after anti-aging skincare trends and getting nothing in return". 

She discovered the "why" during her education as a cosmetic chemist, and what she discovered changed the way she viewed skincare completely.

She discovered that the skin barrier was the key to younger-looking skin, and a strong and healthy barrier would do more for a woman's appearance than any "miracle" cream or potion.

To test this philosophy, she invited women between the ages of 40 and 65 to simplify their routine and use only the serums she created to support the skin barrier and the health of their skin. 

The results were remarkable. Every woman experienced visibly improved skin. Fewer lines and wrinkles, firmer and smoother texture, more even tone with less hyperpigmentation, and reduced redness and irritation.

Her original vision was to turn these formulas into a cream; however, she realized that instead of changing what was working, she would keep these serums exactly as they were.  Those two serums became the foundation of the curbAGE skincare line.
